Visit Kitchen: Classic Meets Contemporary in London Victorian property - A bright spacious kitchen with a contemporary design that will not date is something that many of us want. The owners of this kitchen, south-west London, worked with Stella Kordista designer of A1 Lofts and extensions to create just that - replacing a rustic twee style cuisine with a fresh, modern design and increasing the global space with side and rear extension.

"This transformation of the kitchen was the latest step in a complete overhaul of the house for the owners," says designer Stella Kordista. "They wanted something timeless that was full of light and, as they are both passionate cooks, he had to work on a practical level, too. "

in order to increase the amount of space available for cooking, side Kordista added back and rear extensions to the Victorian house. The back side has three Velux skylights to improve natural light, with intelligent function remote control for opening and closing.
